Job Summary:

The Sales Associate will support the Store Leadership Team in achieving all company goals and initiatives. The role involves modeling and maintaining excellent customer service through effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques. The Sales Associate will ensure merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing meet company standards, and will keep the store and backroom clean and organized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to customer activity with a sense of urgency, prioritizing customer assistance
• Greet and acknowledge customers, providing appropriate service
• Communicate the value and quality of merchandise, promote current promotions, and offer solutions for out-of-stock items
• Address customer concerns effectively with sound judgment
• Apply appropriate selling skills to positively impact sales conversion
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the cash register and educate customers about the PLACE Card
• Maintain stock levels, ensuring all sizes and styles are available
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays
• Keep the stockroom neat, organized, and safe, maintaining a customer-ready environment
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to company standards
• Protect company assets by adhering to Loss Prevention procedures
• Report maintenance and facility needs promptly to ensure a safe, clean environment
• Contribute to store goals through focused efforts
• Be flexible in processing stock as needed

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years old
