Jardeg is recruiting a Journeyperson Crane Operator to join the team at Cenovus Lloydminster Refinery in Lloydminster, Alberta. The shift schedule will be 9 days on and 5 days off, with each workday consisting of 10 hours.

Travel allowance of $300 is provided ($150 each way).

Responsibilities :

• Operate cranes by manipulating pedals and levers to rotate the crane and raise/lower the boom and loadlines.
• Drive the crane to the job site, rig the machine (pinning the boom and pendant cables), and prepare the hoist cable for operation.
• Set up the crane for lifts, ensuring it is level and stable using blocking and leveling materials.

Requirements :

• Must hold a valid Journeyperson ticket.
• Ability to operate cranes of at least 35 tons.

Ticket Requirements :

• Construction Safety Training System (CSTS 09 or 2020) OR Petroleum Safety Training (PST).
• ESC H2S Alive.
• ESC Fall Protection (Harness Training in Class).
• WHMIS (2015).
