We are currently recruiting Full Time Catering Assistants for our Swords Nursing home.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Meeting agreed timelines in ensuring all crockery, utensils, and condiments are collected, washed, and available on time for mealtimes.
  • Loading dishwashers after each serving on all floors, unloading once complete.
  • Setting tables for lunches and teatime on all floors at agreed times.
  • Transferring trolleys to and from the kitchen in a timely manner in line with service needs.
  • Cleaning trolleys before and after each serving.
  • Performing stock checks on all floors after each serving.
  • Assisting service and cleaning on all floors as required.
  • Ensuring all serving and eating areas are clean.
  • Adhering to the safe storage and use of all food and cleaning products.
  • Complying with HACCP guidelines as directed by the Head Chef, ensuring all work practices are in line with regulations.
  • Ensuring all equipment is cleaned to a high standard as directed.
  • Minimizing waste.
  • Rotating roles as necessary to meet the catering demands of the role as directed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Availability to work varied shift patterns including days, nights, and weekends, across Monday to Sunday.
  • Practical experience in a caring capacity is desired.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Professional, caring, and empathetic nature.
  • Comfortable working in sometimes challenging environments.
  • Good level of English language skills.
