Job description

Nisbet Lodge, a non-profit, faith-based long-term care home in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking a dedicated Health Educator for a permanent full-time position. The role offers an hourly wage of $40.40 for 40 hours per week.

Skill Requirements:

Languages: English

Education: Master's degree

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Long term care center

Tasks:

  • Produce reports;
  • Design and implement health and wellness projects or programs;
  • Interpret trends and developments on health issues;
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs;
  • Develop policies, standards and guidelines;
  • Produce articles to provide health information to association or organization members;
  • Monitor and compile research results;
  • Produce educational materials;
  • Conduct training sessions;
  • Provide staff training;
  • Conduct infection control audit.
