Job description

Our client has an immediate opportunity for Millwrights to join their team.

Compensation Package includes:

  • $42/hr + Shift Premium
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • Defined contribution pension plan

  • Clothing/Tooling Allowance

Shift:

• 12 hour Continental Shift Schedule (every second weekend)
• No weekend night shifts scheduled
• 2 week shift rotation

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and repair industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with industrial equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment to identify and address any potential problems
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working on machinery and equipment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance and repair work performed
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all machinery and equipment is operating at optimal levels

Qualifications:

  • Millwright license
  • 3+ years of experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Familiarity with industrial machinery and equipment, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with industrial equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety protocols and procedures
