Role Overview

As the Head of Product, you will define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for QFG's Trust Company and future bank entity (QuestBank). You will lead a team of Product Leads, collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and operations to create exceptional digital banking experiences, and shape the future of banking and organizational growth.

You will be the senior leader and expert on banking products, staying informed of regulatory changes and global best practices. You will leverage customer insights to iterate on digital products, define business hypotheses, and measure success through KPIs. This role includes accountability for the strategy, product lifecycle, and delivery within budget and timelines. Additionally, you will oversee the Enterprise Money Movement strategy, including partnerships with vendors like Interac.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Leadership : Understand customer needs, foster innovation, and align product development with business strategies.
  • P&L Management : Oversee financial performance of product portfolios.
  • Customer and Market Insights : Analyze and report on enterprise money movement and regulatory compliance.
  • Cross-functional Leadership : Coordinate initiatives across teams to ensure effective execution.
  • Governance and Compliance : Maintain internal governance structures.
  • Customer Experience : Ensure delivery of a seamless and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Operational Efficiency : Optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Canadian Fin-Tech experience in digital product management, especially in banking, cards, and payments.
  • Deep knowledge of banking, mortgages, unsecured lending, and credit card industries; OSFI regulated environment experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, leadership, and ability to motivate teams.
  • Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and experience in P&L management.
  • Technical expertise to challenge and guide product development.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in an Agile environment.
