What You Will Do

Data & Cost Analysis

  • Develop and analyze pricing and specification spreadsheets.
  • Provide cost analysis and procurement data to project teams and directors.

Preconstruction Coordination

  • Collaborate with designers, construction teams, and suppliers to ensure project feasibility, cost efficiency, and alignment with objectives.
  • Review construction drawings to assess scope, material requirements, and compliance with design and building standards.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs to estimate material needs, validate supplier quotes, and support budgeting.
  • Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier proposals for accuracy, competitiveness, and budget alignment.
  • Maintain and update price lists for materials, fixtures, and trade services to support accurate budgeting and procurement.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Source, negotiate, and procure materials, finishes, and fixtures to meet project specifications, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and trade partners to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Monitor material and equipment lead times to prevent project delays.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, ensuring compliance with company policies, Canadian and US quality standards, building codes, and volume estimating requirements.

What You Will Bring

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Procurement, Preconstruction, or Project Coordination within the construction industry.
  • Industry Knowledge: Must have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and building standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical abilities and a sharp eye for numbers.
  • Work Ethic: Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized with a team-first mindset.
  • Time Management: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

$70,000 - $80,000
