Role:
Coordinates Public Relations and Advertising functions for Hard Rock Biloxi.
Responsibilities:
- Works with the Management Group marketing team and Property Management to execute public relations activities such as media inquiries and press releases.
- Provides support for copywriting and layout (art direction) for print collateral.
- Maintains the Hard Rock attitude and embodies the values of Love All, Serve All.
- Ensures brand integrity across the property.
- Oversees design and creativity of all collateral for the hotel & casino, providing direction to the creative team.
- Handles writing and editing for internal and external advertising mediums including newsletters, brochures, flyers, and the website.
- Secures media attention for amenities, promotions, and events.
- Supervises advertising designers to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Manages advertising billing and plans monthly media placements.
- Coordinates with freelancers for advertising projects.
- Provides excellent customer and employee service.
- Supervises staff and coordinates work schedules.
- Manages all social media updates and communication.
- Ensures timely trafficking of media such as billboards, TV, and radio.
- Works closely with promotions and marketing teams to ensure consistent communication.
- Participates in social media activities, maintaining the brand voice.
- Conducts staff meetings to communicate programs, new products, and opportunities.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient with computers and communication tools.
- Ability to interpret instructions.
- Ability to have fun while on duty.
- Effective communication skills with staff and guests.
- Experience with media communication.
- Must hold a Mississippi Gaming badge.
Training Requirements:
Mandatory compliance training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter, including courses on active shooter awareness, cybersecurity, safety, hazard communication, responsible gaming, Title 31, sexual harassment, and Title 26 & Form 8300.
Working Conditions:
