Maintenance Technician II (ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA, USA)

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment, including minor electrical repairs.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues; perform tests and replace failed components.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance systems for production and batching equipment.
- Implement predictive maintenance practices to ensure equipment reliability.
- Perform systematic inspections, adjustments, and minor repairs, understanding VFDs, motors, and electrical schematics.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
- Adhere to GMPs, safety standards, and company policies, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to optimize production efficiency.
- Follow all safety procedures, including safety data sheets and work safety practices.
- Use CMMS for troubleshooting and repair documentation; read drawings and manuals as needed.
- Prioritize safety, including lockout/tagout, confined space, and hazardous materials handling.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in meetings.
- Make recommendations for equipment inclusion in preventive maintenance programs.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Associates or Technical Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance in high-speed environments.
Technical Skills:
- Pass the Maintenance Technician test.
- Own and maintain personal tools as per company list.
- Ability to read diagrams, P&ID, blueprints, and schematics.
- Lift up to 50 pounds; work at heights and in extreme temperatures.
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to work under stress and flexible shifts.
- Proficient with computers and related software.
