As a Mechanical Designer & Drafter, you will be an integral part of the project team, working closely with clients, engineers, and other designers to exceed client expectations.

With us, you'll get the opportunity to:

1. Design and prepare 3D models and 2D drawings.
2. Prepare plant layouts, general arrangement drawings, simple diagrams, dimensional calculations, and fabrication drawings for platework and mechanical equipment.
3. Produce preliminary plans for buildings, equipment, or sites from reference drawings or catalogues.
4. Participate in developing innovative solutions and perform other technical duties to support project execution.
5. Apply BBA or client standards when drafting layouts, sketches, schematics, or diagrams from detailed drawings.
6. Help more experienced colleagues with more complex tasks and prepare site surveys when required.

Requirements:

• College diploma in Mechanical Design or relevant work experience.
• Two or more years of mechanical design experience in the industrial sector.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and NavisWorks.
• Asset: Knowledge of CADWorx and SmartPlant 3D.
• Asset: Bilingual (English and French).
