On our team you’ll handle full-cycle recruitment, finding, qualifying & presenting candidates for a variety of roles with our clients. You’re able to connect easily with candidates from diverse backgrounds and are able to quickly build trusted relationships with your hiring leads and peers. Our team works with a sense of urgency and values quick results and creative ideas – you’ll have the opportunity to work on employer branding, process improvements, and advocate for internal projects that connect with your skills. While a deep background in technical recruiting isn’t a requirement, to be successful in this role you should demonstrate familiarity with the tech space, as well as full-cycle recruitment.

Salary : $70,000 to $90,000

Location : Vancouver or Victoria

In this role, you’ll...

  • Identify, attract, screen, shortlist, interview, and evaluate candidates for roles like Full Stack Developer, Project Manager, QA Analyst, and more.
  • Work with LinkedIn Recruiter, and experiment with other sourcing strategies.
  • Use Greenhouse ATS to manage candidates, schedule interviews, and create interview plans.
  • Leverage Greenhouse ATS to maintain a talent pool of pre-qualified candidates and contractors, ensuring excellent data hygiene.
  • Support internal projects with the Resource Management and People & Culture teams.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with candidates.
  • Work closely with hiring leads and the Talent team to understand business and client requirements, translating these requirements into qualified candidates.
  • Use metrics and reporting to evaluate the success of recruitment initiatives.
  • Keep up with recruitment best practices and tech sector news, bringing forward suggestions and strategies based on your knowledge.
  • Contribute to projects in support of our employer brand, candidate experience, and other team goals.

To be successful in this role, you should bring the following...

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a business discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in recruitment, with expertise in filling technical roles.
  • Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfort working with technical talent tools like Greenhouse.
  • Understanding of social recruitment tools, especially LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
  • Familiarity with the roles and skills that make up modern technical teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to proactively network, put others at ease, and effectively manage relationships with everyone from the C-suite to co-op students.
  • Strong communication skills – you know when and how to adjust your messaging based on your audience and what communication to use.
