Job Description

We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of sales experience in the steel or metals industry and a proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Previous experience in wholesale trading and supply chain management is a strong advantage.

As the primary point of contact for your customers, you will manage the entire sales cycle , from prospecting to order fulfillment. Strong communication skills are essential , and you must be able to speak English at a business level or higher.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify and establish relationships with new customers.
  • Strengthen and grow relationships with existing customers.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Create and process sales orders, providing clear timelines to customers.

Job Requirements

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a consultative sales approach to meeting customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills .
  • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational abilities .
  • Ability to manage customer accounts effectively and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel frequently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) .
