The successful candidate will contribute to research on digital innovations such as mobile applications, AI-enabled chatbots, and monitoring devices to improve mental health care access, especially in rural areas.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD in psychology and can develop advanced research in digital technology applications for mental health promotion, prevention, early intervention, and treatment. This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, for five years with potential renewal. Tier 2 Chairs are for emerging researchers with the potential to lead in their field.
The Chair will enhance research capacity and training at Lakehead University, focusing on Digital Mental Health within the Faculty of Health and Behavioural Sciences, Department of Psychology, located in Thunder Bay campus.
