Job Description

Alteo is looking for an E-commerce Coordinator (Shopify) for a permanent position based in Montreal (West-Island).

You will play a key role within a small but fast-growing e-commerce company. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager, Marketing team, and the Founders to execute product launches and seasonal campaigns, bringing digital experiences to life across all platforms.

Responsibilities:

> Shopify Website Management

  • Maintain and optimize all website content, product listings, blogs, collections, banners, and the homepage.
  • Conduct seasonal campaigns, promotional events, and flash sales with precision and finesse.
  • Ensure the site is fully bilingual and maintains consistency in tone, layout, and functionality.
  • Focus on speed, mobile responsiveness, and UX best practices.

> App Management

  • Oversee the BSE mobile app (e.g., Plobal), including visual updates, product launches, and exclusive app events.
  • Work with marketing to ensure app messaging aligns with key brand initiatives.
  • Monitor performance metrics and address issues as necessary.

> Technical & IT Ownership

  • Coordinate with developers and vendors for integrations, fixes, and backend updates.
  • Ensure platforms (Shopify, Klaviyo, Yotpo, Plobal, etc.) are stable, secure, and optimally configured.
  • Engage in automation enhancements and AI integrations as appropriate.

> Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to ensure inventory data consistency across platforms.
  • Coordinate site launches with marketing, customer service, and fulfillment teams for smooth execution.
  • Develop standard operating procedures for site maintenance, content updates, app workflows, and platform tools.

Profile:

  • DEC/BAC in IT, e-commerce, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify (Shopify Plus is a significant asset).
  • Confident in overseeing a branded mobile app experience.
  • Deep understanding of UX/UI principles, SEO, CRO, and platform integrations.
  • Calm, precise, and solutions-focused.
