Qualifications

• DZ license and air brakes endorsement required.
• Three years of experience operating a DZ vehicle.
• Clear driver’s abstract required.
• Ability to lift at least 23 kg (50 lbs) during 10‑hour shifts.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must provide own transportation to Greely, ON.

Responsibilities

• Drive a water truck for commercial landscaping and construction sites.
• Water, hydroseed and irrigate sites throughout Ottawa Region.
• Seasonal, full-time work (40‑55 hours per week).
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee vehicle and equipment condition.
• Receive and relay information to dispatch.
• Keep records including driver logs, loading tickets and inspection reports.

Description

• Drive a water truck for commercial landscaping & other construction sites
• Water, hydroseed and irrigate sites throughout Ottawa Region
• Seasonal, full time work (40 - 55 hours/week)
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Receive and relay information to dispatch
• Keep records including driver logbook, loading tickets, inspection report

Requirements

• DZ License, air brakes endorsement (3 years of experience)
• Clear Driver's abstract
• Ability to lift & pull 23 kg or more (50 lbs+) throughout 10hr shifts
• Ability to work in all weather conditions outdoors
• Must provide your own transportation to and from the truck garage/base in Greely, ON
