Job summary

Facility Care is seeking experienced DZ Salt Truck Drivers for winter operations across GTA client sites, with pick-up at Bolton or Scarborough branches. The role requires operating DZ trucks, loading salt, and maintaining routes safely and promptly during snow events.

You will be on-call 24/7, drive to treat lanes and lots, perform basic truck maintenance, and communicate with dispatch while adhering to safety standards. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Licensed and experienced with DZ (or higher) trucks.
• Experience operating a salt truck in winter conditions.
• Skilled with loaders and basic truck maintenance.
• Reliable, adaptable and available 24/7 during winter.
• Safety-focused and compliant with protocols.
• Independent, efficient and a clear communicator.

Responsibilities

• Load your truck with salt safely using a loader.
• Follow site maps and complete routes on schedule.

Pay: $35/hr with 45 Guaranteed Hours bi-weekly
Contract: Nov 16, 2026 – Mar 28, 2027

Location: Various GTA client sites- Pick-up Truck at Bolton or Scarborough Branch

We’re hiring experienced DZ Salt Truck Drivers to keep GTA client properties safe during winter. You’ll operate DZ-class salt trucks, load your truck with salt, and ensure routes are treated efficiently and safely. Reliability, safety, and strong equipment skills are essential — an in‑person drive test is required.
