Battlefield Equipment Rentals in Ajax, ON is seeking a DZ Class Heavy Equipment Delivery Driver to join our team. This full-time role delivers construction equipment to customer sites, ensuring safe loading, secure transport, and excellent service.

You’ll coordinate with dispatch, maintain logs, and support branch operations while upholding safety standards and professionalism on every job site.

Qualifications

• Delivery driving experience delivering construction or landscaping equipment to job sites.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• DZ Class driver’s license with a clean abstract.
• Safety-focused and able to follow workplace safety protocols.
• Experience tying down and securing loads.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Knowledge of construction equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver equipment safely and efficiently to customer job sites.
• Load, unload, tie down, and secure equipment per safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on job sites.
• Maintain communication with dispatch about schedules, delivery updates, and route changes.
• Update driver logs and required documentation accurately.
• Inspect loads and report damages or issues to the manager promptly.
• Prepare for next-day deliveries by fueling trucks and pre-loading equipment.
• Collaborate with the branch team to support daily operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental practices.
