Job description

Safety-Kleen in Brampton, ON is seeking a Sales and Service Representative (DZ licensed) to join their safety conscious team! The SSR will be responsible for both daily waste pickup and delivery services at customer sites, along with executing sales-driven tasks such as upselling, cross-selling and generating new leads for SK products and services. You will drive our mission of sustainability by providing excellent service to our customers while promoting and delivering Safety-Kleen products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner.
  • Driving the Box Truck to different customer sites - collection of waste in a safe and compliant manner and transportation of waste to a branch.
  • Picking up/delivering waste services, making drop offs to our disposal facilities.
  • Upselling products/ additional services, generating new sales leads.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets.
  • Complete daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups in a timely manner.
  • Complete all required documentation and labeling.
  • Work with route drivers to convert new sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes.
  • Prospect and convert leads to customers.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years with valid DZ driving experience, manual transmission required.
  • Experience driving Straight trucks.
  • Vacuum truck driving experience is a strong asset.
  • 2+ years of B2B sales/customer service experience.
  • Environmental Services/Hazardous waste experience highly preferred.
  • Tenacious, assertive, strong organizational skills and a hunter mentality.
  • Proven ability to develop a book of business.
  • Familiarity with CRM programs is a strong asset.
