We are seeking a Dynamometer Instrumentation Technician who will report to the Service Manager, Test and Service, Research and Development, Electric Vehicles, to help support the various systems used in the test room. In this role, you will be working on engine, battery, or chassis dynamometer test benches at BRP's product research and development centre.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

  • Handle sensors for instrumentation in general (thermocouples, pressure sensors, flow meters).
  • Work with a data acquisition system.
  • Perform simple electrical setups.
  • Navigate different projects in parallel.
  • Evolve within a dynamic technical environment involving both our internal combustion and electric vehicles.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • A diploma of college studies (DCS) in electrical engineering, electronics, or instrumentation and control.
  • Relevant experience.
  • Skills in electronics and proficiency in wiring low-voltage assemblies.
  • Interest in or knowledge of engines, batteries, or powertrains.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in French, along with proficiency in technical English to collaborate with our partners outside Québec.
