DYNAMITE is hiring a Sales Assistant Manager for Sherway Gardens to support the Store Manager with leadership that enhances the customer experience on the sales floor and drives sales performance.

You will lead a high-performing team, manage floor operations, and promote a positive shopping environment while driving traffic through digital channels and store initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business is a plus.
• Two years of management experience, preferably in fashion retail.
• Passion for fashion with an outgoing, customer-service focus.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to changing business needs.
• Promote collaboration and share best practices to drive results.
• Strong partnerships and teamwork across store functions.
• Social media and mobile device savvy; proficient with MS Office or Open-Office.
• Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as Sales Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager by providing leadership that optimizes sales results, with specific ownership of the customer experience on the sales floor. Through effective floor management, you will ensure the promotion of a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and increase traffic through digital platforms. You are an integral part of the success of your store!

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline, an asset
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment
• Has passion for fashion, and displays an outgoing personality and passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Demonstrate organizational skills, solving skills, and decision making abilities
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office
• Availability to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs
