Job summary

Dynamite in Sherway Gardens is seeking a Sales Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager, lead a high-performing team, and optimize the customer experience on the sales floor.

You will drive sales results, manage floor operations, and collaborate on digital initiatives to increase traffic. The ideal candidate brings fashion passion, 2 years of leadership experience, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma; post-secondary education in business or related discipline is an asset.
• 2 years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
• Passion for fashion, outgoing personality and exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrate organizational skills, solving skills, and decision making abilities.
• Demonstrate flexibility, innovation and sense of urgency in identifying and reacting to the changing business environment by contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity and learning by sharing best practices and building on the ideas of others.
• Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
• Social Media Skills, Mobile Device Skills, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or Open-Office.
• Availability to work a on flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays, as per business needs.

Job summary:

Reporting to the Store Manager, your main focus as Sales Assistant Manager is to assist the Store Manager by providing leadership that optimizes sales results, with specific ownership of the customer experience on the sales floor. Through effective floor management, you will ensure the promotion of a positive shopping experience for each customer, while leading and inspiring a high performing team to drive operational efficiency and increase traffic through digital platforms. You are an integral part of the success of your store!
