Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Saskatoon is seeking a Branch Warehouse Associate to move, sort, and count materials, prepare docks for inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure accurate loading/unloading of deliveries. The role requires operating a forklift safely, maintaining a clean, safe workspace, and coordinating with dispatch for freight appointments.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification (preferred), and experience in shipping/receiving.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in Shipping and Receiving is preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to weigh and measure items.
• Knowledge of safe lifting methods.
• Experience operating material handling equipment including forklift.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Move and transport goods and products within the warehouse.
• Sort and count materials entering or leaving the facility.
• Prepare receiving dock for inbound product and materials for shipment.
• Match incoming/outgoing product with purchase orders.
• Operate a forklift safely to move product.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with scheduling freight appointments as needed.
• Report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Maintain organized work area per policies and safety rules.
• Perform quality checks on shipments (in/outbound).
• Contribute to others' duties as assigned.
