Pump House in Mississauga is seeking an experienced server to create a great guest experience from seating to departure. You will know the menu, make recommendations, take accurate orders, and keep drinks full with personality.

We value teamwork, your ability to read tables, and staying calm in a fast-paced environment. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow into bartending and management.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years of serving experience in a busy restaurant or bar.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Smart Serve certification.
• Comfortable using POS and reservation systems.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests and make them feel genuinely welcome.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them to the kitchen and bar.
• Know the menu, cocktails, wine, beer, features, promotions and events.
• Make recommendations and help guests find something they'll enjoy.
• Serve food and beverages promptly, professionally and with personality.
• Check in with guests throughout their experience without rushing.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and involve a manager when needed.
• Process bills and payments accurately.
• Answer phones, assist with reservations and takeout orders.
