Freelancer Prox is seeking a qualified High School Math Teacher for grades 9–12. You will plan and deliver math lessons, using varied methods to meet diverse learners, and foster an inclusive classroom environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mathematics with a valid teaching certification and at least two years of HS math experience. Proficiency with classroom technology and communication with parents are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Teaching certification or license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching high school math
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and standards
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of students
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration
• Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Use technology to enhance learning and keep students engaged
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities, such as math clubs and competitions
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress
• Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
