Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board is hosting a Virtual Job Fair for the Designated Early Childhood Educator (DECE) Supply Pool. Interviews will be conducted virtually on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, 8:30am–3:30pm, with opportunities for future supply pool and short-term contracts.

Applicants must hold a Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education, be a registered member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, and provide a Roman Catholic Baptism Certificate.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (E.C.E.).
• Registered Member, in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators.
• Roman Catholic Baptism Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, faith-filled classroom environment aligned with Catholic virtues.
• Manage the Kindergarten Program with age-appropriate play and inquiry-based learning.
• Observe, monitor and assess student development using checklists, anecdotes and portfolios.
• Collaborate with staff and community resources to support diverse learners.
• Maintain health and safety standards in the classroom.
