DVM Student Externship

Practice:

Heartland Veterinary Partners' Externship Program works to provide veterinary students with hands-on experience and mentorship to help them be 'practice ready' by their first day in practice.

Externships are typically 2 weeks long, and Heartland will cover the cost of lodging if needed. The length of the externship is flexible, and we can support your preceptorship documentation as well.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Eligibility

Must be currently enrolled in an AVMA Accredited Veterinary School.

Must be able to provide student PLIT.
