BrainBox AI utilizes self-adapted artificial intelligence technology to proactively optimize the energy consumption of buildings, a significant contributor to climate change.

Our AI engine supports self-operating buildings that require no human intervention. Using deep learning, cloud computing, and our proprietary process, our solution autonomously optimizes existing HVAC control systems to maximize energy efficiency.

An exciting opportunity awaits to join our fast-growing AI company as part of the Ecosystem team, focusing on infrastructure and cloud development. Your role will involve supporting legacy systems, account and access administration, generating reports, troubleshooting failures, and proposing infrastructure improvements. Your meticulous attention to detail and sophisticated coding style will guide our systems towards autonomous operation worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the maturation of our cloud infrastructure.
• Identify areas for automation and implement solutions.
• Proactively identify infrastructure bottlenecks and coordinate their resolution.
• Document infrastructure and runbooks for the support team.
• Support legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services (ECS, ECR, Parameter Store, API Gateway, ELB, S3, Lambda, Cognito, etc.) and AWS networking components.
• Proficiency with Terraform (or similar IaC tools).
• Experience with Gitlab or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Strong Git skills (branching, merging, troubleshooting).
• Scripting experience with high-level languages like Python.
• Knowledge of production environment best practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English (full professional proficiency in English required for collaboration with English-speaking stakeholders).

Preferred Attributes

• Experience with AWS Organizations.
• Understanding of data sovereignty.
• Knowledge of database administration.
• Familiarity with UNIX/Linux administration, especially Debian/Ubuntu.
• AWS certification is a plus.
