• Must have valid ESC H2S Alive, Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED.
• Must possess ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 Fundamentals & Driving and Journey Management Certificates.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence (non-GDL) required.

Job description

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd.is currently seeking aDual Ticketed Journeyman Electrician & Instrumentation Technicianfor our project located in Sparwood, BC. Travel allowance is provided.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time, long-term maintenance projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Requirements:

• Journeyman Electrical & Instrumentation Certificates
• Must have a strong knowledge of industrial maintenance and new construction in both the electrical and instrumentation trades
• Candidates must have valid ESC H2S Alive, Standard First Aid – Level A or C with CPR/AED, ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 Fundamentals & Driving and Journey Management Certificates
• Must have a flexible work schedule – shirt work, overtime, weekends
• Valid Class 5 Drivers Licence (non-GDL)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work as part of a successful team
• Ability to work safely in a remote setting
