Job summary

Air Products is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician (Dual Ticket) for our Edmonton HyCO facility. You will install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, analytical, and control systems in a continuous petrochemical environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this safety‑driven, 24/7 role requires dual‑ticket certification (Instrumentation Technician and Electrician) and a willingness to work overtime and on-call.

Qualifications

• Dual Ticket Certification is required.
• Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Willingness to work on-call and overtime in a 24/7 operation.
• Industrial plant maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair plant electrical, instrumentation, control, and analytical systems.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults using industry-standard diagnostic techniques.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, loop drawings, logic diagrams, and blueprints.
