Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a DSP Systems Engineer to contribute to the AI Processor team, developing DSP software for Snapdragon processors. We are searching for an DSP Systems Engineer to be part of the Qualcomm AI Processor team responsible for developing DSP software applications and use cases developed for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. The candidate will work on implementing new cutting-edge algorithms in the areas of machine learning, computer vision and video processing that bring artificial intelligence to mobile and edge devices. Responsibilities include software design, development, integration, test, and support of these applications for the Qualcomm Hexagon DSP. New Position

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

Requirements:

• Excellent programming skills in C/C++, Python
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of embedded development
• Knowledge of OOP principles
• Knowledge of operating system concepts
• Knowledge of software development principles and practices
• Effective interpersonal communications skill (written and verbal)

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits:

• $104,800.00 - $154,800.00

The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and opportunity for annual RSU grants (employees on sales-incentive plans are not eligible for our annual bonus).
