Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC in Markham, Ontario, is seeking an Engineer for AI Software/Machine Learning (C++). You will develop a modern C++17 library for Qualcomm Hexagon processors, optimize code for embedded systems, and build model analyzing tools for internal and external customers.

The role involves using cross compiler toolchains for Android, embedded Linux, and QNX; addressing issues in existing AI products; implementing ML operations on Hexagon; and collaborating with a globally distributed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with C++ (ideally C++17).
• Background in mathematical algorithms using fast math libraries and vector instructions.
• Experience developing middleware or firmware software.
• Experience with multitasking and multithreading driver development.
• Experience with Hexagon DSP SDK or cross compiler toolchains for embedded systems.
• Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or ONNX.
• Experience with Git, Linux, JIRA and Docker.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
