Job summary

Autism Services is seeking skilled drywall and plaster professionals to execute interior finishing work on projects across Canada. The role focuses on reading construction documents, applying plaster and joint compounds, and installing drywall with precision to meet design specifications.

Candidates will work with hand and power tools, tape joints, and finish surfaces to a high standard. Flexible scheduling options include morning, day, and early morning shifts to fit project timelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and specifications
• Experience applying plaster and finishing joints
• Proficient with drywall sheets and metal studs
• Skill in using hand and power tools

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Apply coats of compound, sand seams and joints, and level finish surfaces.
• Install drywall sheets and position on studs or joists; finish corners and trim.
• Tape joints and embed tape; allow coats to dry and finish surfaces.
• Install acoustic tile or metal studs for walls; protect corners with corner beads.
