Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in drywall installation or finishing.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements.
• Supervise other workers on site.
• Apply coats of joint compound and sand seams.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fabricate and install suspended ceiling grids where required.
• Fill joints and nail indentations with joint compound.
• Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets.
• Tape joints and embed tape in compound.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
