Workplace Information: On site

Salary: $29.60 hourly / 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time (Day, Morning, Shift, Weekend)

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience:
1 to less than 7 months

Work Setting:
Various locations

Responsibilities:

1. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
2. Clean and prepare surfaces
3. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
4. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
5. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
6. Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
7. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
8. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
9. Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings
10. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
11. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
12. Estimate costs and materials

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
