Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years is required.

On Site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work Setting: Various locations, willing to relocate, costs covered by employer

Responsibilities:

1. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
2. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
3. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
4. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
5. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
6. Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts and electrical outlets
7. Install corner beads and wire mesh around beams to which plaster is to be applied
8. Install exterior and interior steel studs
9. Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
10. Utilize laser alignment system
11. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms

• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding
• Standing for extended periods
• Work under pressure

Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
