Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Clean and prepare surfaces
2. Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
3. Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
4. Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
5. Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
6. Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
7. Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
8. Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry

Required Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Required Experience: Experience as asset

Work Site Environment: At heights and dusty

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and standing for extended periods
