Job description

The Dryland Program Leader 1 for childminding and preschool is responsible for leading preschool programs, services and special events. This position is required to have minimum Level 1 in Early Childhood (Level 2 or 3 is an asset) in order to provide supervision and support in the childcare centre, licensed preschool programming, and preschool day camp areas.

As our preferred candidate, you will have :

  • Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Possession of a valid Alberta Driver’s License.
  • Commitment to the City’s Cornerstone Values.
  • Ability to do minor lifting.
  • Ability to work in noisy conditions.
  • Ability to work in stressful conditions and deal with conflict situations.

Remuneration :

24.58 to $26.03 per hour.

Hours of Work :

40 hours biweekly, as scheduled. Availability required for weekdays, evenings, weekends, early mornings and potential split shifts as dryland programming and business needs require.

Additional Information :

The term of this position is anticipated to be 10 months.
