Egis Group Canada is seeking an Electrical Technologist in Toronto to support planning, design, and delivery of electrical systems for transportation infrastructure. The role requires hands-on design work, documentation, and coordination across teams.

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years of experience in dry utilities, a solid understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code, and the ability to manage design deliverables for municipal and transportation projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical systems for transportation projects, including underground ducts.
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients during delivery.
  • Perform design reviews and ensure code compliance.
  • Conduct field inspections and verify installation quality.
  • Guide junior engineers and designers during project execution.
