Overview

Our client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dry Ice Blasting Technician. As a Dry Ice Blasting Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining dry ice blasting equipment to clean and restore industrial machinery, surfaces, and facilities. This role is hands-on, physical, and requires attention to safety and detail.

Location: Fort McMurray, Edmonton, and Other Locations within Alberta

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dry ice blasting equipment for cleaning industrial equipment, surfaces, and facilities.
• Prepare work areas, ensure safety measures are in place, and maintain cleanliness after jobs.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of blasting equipment.
• Follow company safety protocols and industry regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently.
• Document work performed and report equipment or site issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, dry ice blasting, or related trades
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, heights).
• Safety tickets (CSTS, WHMIS, First Aid, Confined Space Entry & Monitor, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, Elevated Working Platforms)
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is an asset, but not required
