Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Drum Teacher located in Okotoks, AB. The Drum Teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting drum lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels. The role includes teaching music theory, demonstrating drumming techniques, and preparing students for performances. The Drum Teacher will also provide feedback and support to help students improve and reach their musical goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Music Theory and Music Education
• Skilled in Music Performance and Drum Set techniques
• Experience teaching music, preferably drums
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and inspire students
• Relevant certifications or degrees in music education are an asset
• Prior teaching experience in a similar role is a plus
