Job summary

Eurofins CDMO Alphora Inc. in Canada seeks a results-driven Manager to lead Drug Product Operations & Engineering, guiding manufacturing, process development, and technology transfer for clinical-stage products.

You will partner with clients and internal teams to ensure regulatory compliance, quality, and on-time delivery, while shaping strategy, planning, and continuous improvement. A minimum of 10 years in pharma and 5 years in leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical or manufacturing teams.
• Strong experience in drug product development and manufacturing, especially solid dosage forms.
• Proven GMP manufacturing operations leadership with technical teams.
• Strong business acumen with experience supporting commercial activities, quotations, forecasting and client interactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive, hands-on leadership style with collaboration and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Drug Product manufacturing operations supporting client development programs and production of cGMP clinical supply materials.
• Oversee daily operations within production suites, warehouse activities, materials management, and related support functions.
• Ensure facilities, equipment, and operations remain inspection-ready and GMP-compliant.
• Drive production planning, scheduling, resource allocation and inventory management for operational excellence.
• Provide strategic leadership to Drug Product Technical and Engineering teams; support process development, tech transfer, scale-up and manufacturing.
• Partner with Engineering to maintain qualification and preventive maintenance programs; evaluate new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead commercial activities, including revenue forecasting, client proposals and quotations; build strong client relationships.
