A healthcare provider in Manitoba is seeking a Drug Distribution Manager responsible for the safe and efficient provision of drug distribution services. The role involves collaboration within the Pharmacy Department and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a Pharmacy Technician Certificate, relevant experience, and is proficient in both English and French. Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, the Drug Distribution Manager is responsible and accountable for the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation and operation of safe, effective and efficient provision of drug distribution services. The Drug Distribution Manager works collaboratively with other members of the Pharmacy Department to ensure that the compounding, preparation and delivery of medications comply with regional Pharmacy standards and adhere to regulations and acts governing to Pharmacy profession.
The incumbent exercises the appropriate level of initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities, work methods to be employed and action to be taken on unusual matters. The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
