About Staffing works with a number of companies across Calgary that require temporary, casual, part time and permanent workers. We are now hiring a number of drivers (who have class 5 licenses). Those who drive are able to explore multiple vacancies, which may include driving new vehicles as a shuttler, moving cars around a lot, etc.

Some roles on sites are not transit accessible, which may include warehouse, construction, landscaping, you name it! With hundreds of vacancies available across the board – those who can drive and are able to get themselves to and from site are in high demand!!

Duties and Responsibilities:

Working on a variety of sites including landscaping, construction, warehouse, auto shops, etc.

The key job functions are:

  • Driving – Shuttling, driving cars around lots, detailing cars, etc.
  • General Labour – Lifting >50lbs
  • Heavy Labour – Lifting 50-75lbs
  • Carpentry/Framing – Reading blueprints, framing new home builds/renovation projects
  • Site Clean Up – Removing materials, walking to dumpsters, etc.
  • Picking/Packing – putting together orders, palletizing, boxing, etc.
  • Shipping/Receiving – Organizing shipments in preparation for pick up or after drop off
  • Swamping – Unloading trucks, moving materials around shop.
  • Landscaping – maintaining and constructing

Education:

  • High School or Equivalent (asset)

Qualifications:

  • Driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Reliable
  • Team player

Experience:

  • Entry level roles available –No experience required!
  • Landscaping experience preferred (asset)
  • Construction experience preferred (asset)
  • Warehouse experience preferred (asset)

Work Hours:

  • Work hours will vary depending on the assignment details and employers’ needs. This information will be confirmed at the time of your interview or offering of assignment(s).

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
