With 15 branches and around 300 employees throughout New Zealand, we are one of the biggest names in lift truck supplies.

The role

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator Trainer to join our Service Team in Hamilton and with a focus on Safety First, provide training to our customers and staff across South Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty. You’ll join a stable business and enjoy the variety and opportunities of working within a close-knit, supportive team as part of a large organisation.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for the growth of the driver training business across our existing and competitor customer base throughout the central North Island. You’ll lead profitable growth through collaborative teamwork focused on increasing customer satisfaction, reducing customer churn and increasing our active customer base.

You’ll build strong working relationships with your internal and external stakeholders and you’ll take the right approach to ensure ongoing and long-lasting relationships, whilst still meeting your targets and the needs of our customers.

This is a fulltime, permanent role, based in Hamilton, with a requirement for regular travel throughout southern Auckland and the central North Island.

About you

To shine in this role, you’ll bring your customer-centric, positive and solutions-focused attitude and strong attention-to-detail skills. You'll be a qualified Trainer and your experience in forklift Driver training and coaching will help you enter this role and your strong communication, planning and time management skills will be essential. You’ll be a collaborative and supportive team player and have great customer service/relationship skills when it comes to dealing with your internal and external stakeholders.

A full drivers’ licence is required and there will be manual handling involved so you’ll also need to be physically fit.
