Job summary

Imperial Dade Canada is seeking a Straight Truck Driver to deliver products in Woodbridge, Ontario, and surrounding areas. The role requires a DZ license with at least two years of truck driving experience, TDG/WHMIS knowledge an asset, and ability to load/unload using equipment.

Must be reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Shifts vary; on-site position with required PPE and ability to operate stand-up equipment.

Qualifications

• Active DZ license required with 2+ years driving experience.
• TDG/WHMIS knowledge is an asset.
• Ability to operate power loading equipment and Stand-up MHE.
• Tailgate experience is an asset and ISO policies awareness is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, reliability and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles within Woodbridge and surrounding areas.
• Load and unload stock safely and securely.
• Verify orders at delivery and ensure on-time, accurate delivery.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and stock Records.
• Ensure truck/equipment are in good working condition and adhere to maintenance procedures.

Imperial Brady Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Woodbridge, ON. The Straight Truck Driver is responsible for delivering product to our customers in a safe and professional manner, on time and accurately. There are a variety of shifts for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Driving company owned and licensed vehicles within the Woodbridge and surrounding areas.
• Loading and unloading stock in a secure manner for safe, damage-free transportation.
• Verifying all orders at time of delivery and delivering orders to meet customer specifications.
• Ensuring equipment and truck are in good working condition through adherence to delivery maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with the completion of delivery registers and paperwork to ensure stock is accounted for.

Qualifications:

• Holder of active DZ license with a minimum of two years of truck driving experience is required.
• Current TDG/WHMIS knowledge would be considered an asset.
• Ability to use power loading equipment.
• Tailgate experience would be considered an asset.
• Familiar with ISO Policies and Procedures would be considered an asset.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team member.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable and reliable.
• Good decision making skills and ability to work independently.High school graduate and/or related experience.

Working/Other Conditions:

• Working on-site in a dry climate-controlled warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Required to wear personal protective equipment – company supplied.
• Minimal to moderate exposure to hazardous conditions, noise, and vibrations conducive to a warehouse and vehicle environment.
• Ability to operate Stand-up Material Handling Equipment as required.
• Repetitive physical activities including but not limited to lifting, bending, pushing and pulling weights up to 23 kg (50lbs) for the duration of the shift.
• As an essential services provider you must be comfortable driving in all weather and road conditions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be flexible regarding work hours.
• Ability to work extended hours, which may be required from time to time.

This position has a salary range of $22.50 to $24.50 per hour.
