GFL Environmental is seeking a Driver to join our team in Yorkton, SK.

The Roll-Off / Front Load Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of business. The CDL Driver will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED desired
• Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class 1a preferred
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria according to company standards
• Ability to safely operate trucks and equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicle types with automatic and standard transmissions, collecting waste, yard waste, and recyclables on varying routes
• Complete safety inspections, route sheets, and documentation daily
• Operate trucks and equipment using prescribed techniques to prevent mechanical failures
• Follow all safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate service records
• Conduct route observations and report findings as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of truck components and basic maintenance
• Ability to maneuver trucks in tight spaces using mirrors
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds
