GFL Environmental is seeking a Roll-off Driver to join our team in Calgary, AB!

The Roll-Off Driver will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to customers across multiple lines of business. The CDL Driver will collect waste from customer sites and transport it to post-collection facilities for proper disposal.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class 3 with Air Endorsement.
• Minimum one (1) year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certification.
• Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria according to company standards.
• Ability to safely operate trucks and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate vehicles with automatic and standard transmissions, collecting waste and recyclables on assigned routes, which may vary daily.
• Complete safety inspections, route sheets, and documentation daily.
• Operate trucks using prescribed techniques to prevent mechanical failures.
• Follow all safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Assist with route observations and reporting as needed.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of truck components and basic maintenance.
• Skill in maneuvering trucks in tight spaces using mirrors.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 pounds safely.
