The driver is responsible for operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) and safely transporting household goods, office furniture, and other heavy items. The role includes packing, moving, and delivering items while providing exceptional customer service to all TWO MEN AND A TRUCK customers.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers, establishing rapport and confidence in TWO MEN AND A TRUCK services.
- Recommend moving services, supplies, and equipment based on customer needs; suggest alternatives when appropriate.
- Gather customer feedback during the move to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns proactively.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and inform management of any issues.
- Keep customers and management informed about delays or additional information needed.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company products, services, pricing, and promotions to communicate value and address objections.
- Perform daily truck inspections and maintain accurate logs.
- Calculate service charges accurately and complete all move-related paperwork, ensuring proper handling of collected revenues.
- Safely pack, move, and unpack customer belongings using proper equipment and techniques.
- Organize and secure the truck at the end of each job, maintaining cleanliness and safety.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip truck inspections and inventory moving equipment.
- Wear a clean, approved TWO MEN AND A TRUCK uniform at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene standards.
- Comply with company policies outlined in the employee handbook and by management.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- Minimum 25 years of age (depending on insurance requirements) and at least one year of driving experience; industry experience preferred.

- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform tasks requiring strength, with occasional lifting of 100 pounds or more.
