As a Long Haul Chemical Transport Driver , you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of hazardous production chemicals throughout Western Canada. You will operate company vehicles in accordance with Baker Hughes policies, customer requirements, and applicable laws and regulations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

You will work closely with managers, plant personnel, and office teams to coordinate routes and schedules while ensuring deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

As a Long Haul Chemical Transport Driver , you will use your professional driving experience, chemical handling knowledge, and commitment to safety to support reliable transportation and delivery operations. You will be responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and unloading of hazardous chemicals while maintaining accurate documentation and complying with transportation and dangerous goods requirements.

You will also support warehouse and yard activities as required and contribute to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

As a Long Haul Chemical Transport Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Safely operating company vehicles in compliance with Baker Hughes policies, customer requirements, and all applicable laws and regulations.
• Transporting hazardous production chemicals throughout Western Canada safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading hazardous chemicals in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Maintaining courteous, professional, and safe driving practices while operating on public roads.
• Following applicable traffic laws and oil company-specific regulations and requirements.
• Accurately recording delivery information and maintaining required transportation and delivery documentation.
• Completing and maintaining required electronic and paper driving logs.
• Operating forklifts and other equipment as required to support loading, unloading, and operational activities.
• Communicating effective with managers, plant personnel, and office teams to support route planning and scheduling.
• Performing warehouse and yard duties as required.
• Maintaining the cleanliness of assigned trucks and work areas.
• Supporting… safe and efficient daily transportation and chemical delivery activities.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent .
• Hold a valid Class 1 Driver's License with a minimum of 5 years of driving experience .
• Have previous chemical delivery experience.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Have the ability to complete required paperwork and maintain accurate electronic and paper logs.
• Have knowledge of Transport Canada Dangerous Goods Regulations and load securement standards.
• Have the ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs on a daily basis .
• Have basic computer skills.
• Demonstrate strong integrity, responsibility, and organizational skills.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Be available for on-call work as required.

Desired Characteristics

• Long-haul driving experience within Western Canada.
• Previous off-road driving experience.
• Previous experience working within the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with chemical safety procedures and practices.
• Familiarity with pumps pumps, valves, and liquid handling equipment.
• Ability to work effectively in varying operating and about?) conditions.
• Ability to safely operate different types of equipment as required.

Work in a Way That Works for You

This role primarily operates Monday through Friday , with weekend work potentially required based on operational needs. Overtime applies after 10 hours per day or 50 hours per week .

The position requires flexibility to support on-call requirements as needed and involves long-haul transportation of hazardous production chemicals throughout Western Canada.

Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship .
