A healthcare authority is seeking a responsible individual for the operation and management of transport vehicles in the Nanaimo area. The role involves the loading and unloading of various materials, from linens to laboratory specimens. Candidates should have at least Grade 10 education and a valid Class 5 vehicle license. A strong ability to communicate effectively and manage tasks is essential. This position emphasizes the importance of safety and quality in service delivery.

Reports to the Transport Supervisor. Responsible for the operation, loading, and unloading of a van, light truck, or trailer, to pick up, transport, and drop off garbage, linen, ward supplies, office furnishings, recyclable materials, food products, laboratory specimens, bio-hazardous material, information material, and other items according to defined schedules, request log, or dispatched instructions.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And ExperienceGrade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Class 5 vehicle license.
